Job Overview
Our client is looking for skilled and experienced Local Tile Setters to carry out high-quality tile and stone installation works. The ideal candidates must be technically competent, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering precise finishes in line with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Install floor and wall tiles in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
Carry out sand-cement mortar tile installation for floors and stone surfaces
Install wall tiles using tile adhesive and bonding agents
Cut, shape, and finish tiles and stone accurately
Ensure correct alignment, spacing, and levelness of tiles
Inspect finished work to prevent hollow spots, uneven surfaces, or misaligned joints
Maintain cleanliness and safety at the work site
Qualifications & Requirements
Relevant education background with a minimum of over 3 years working experience
Proven experience in tile and stone installation works
Proficient in using the following tiling tools and equipment:
Spirit level
Marble cutting machine
Tile cutter (manual tile pushing cutter)
Strong knowledge of floor and wall tiling techniques
Ability to strictly control:
Surface flatness and levelness
Tile joint size and consistency
Hollow sound prevention and adhesion quality
High attention to detail and quality workmanship
Physically fit and able to work on-site
