Job Overview
Our client is seeking skilled and experienced Local Painters to join their construction and interior finishing team. The ideal candidates must have hands-on experience in painting and surface finishing works, be proficient with power tools, and deliver high-quality finishes on residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out painting and surface finishing works on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
Prepare surfaces through sanding, leveling, and priming before painting
Perform gypsum board ceiling finishing, putty application, and paint works
Ensure walls are properly aligned and leveled using appropriate techniques
Maintain high standards of workmanship and site cleanliness
Follow safety procedures and project timelines
Qualifications & Requirements
Relevant education background with a minimum of over 3 years working experience
Proven experience in painting and finishing works
Proficient in using the following power tools:
Mortar mixing machine
Infrared level
Sanding machine and related painting tools
Skilled in using aluminum straight edges for internal and external corner alignment
Experience in gypsum board ceiling putty and paint application
Wall screeding, leveling, and surface alignment experience
Physically fit, hardworking, and able to work under demanding site conditions
Experience in residential/home interior projects is an added advantage
