A client is looking to hire an experienced Motor Vehicle Mechanical Engineer/Mechanic with strong expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of motor vehicles.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on petrol and diesel vehicles.
Inspect vehicle systems such as engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and electrical components.
Conduct routine service and preventive maintenance.
Identify mechanical issues accurately using modern diagnostic tools.
Maintain clear service records and repair reports.
Advise management on mechanical issues, required parts, and repair timelines.
Ensure all repairs meet safety and industry standards.
Test-drive vehicles to confirm successful repair completion.
🔹 Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in motor vehicle mechanics.
Strong knowledge of engines, drive train systems, suspension, braking systems, and vehicle electronics.
Ability to diagnose faults efficiently and perform quality repairs.
Experience with both manual and automatic systems.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Professional, reliable, and able to work independently.
