About the Role
JP Garment Kenya EPZ is seeking a skilled Chinese Translator to support communication and coordination across production, procurement, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate documents, emails, and technical instructions between Chinese and English.
Provide interpretation during meetings, factory visits, and video conferences.
Support procurement and production teams in communication with Chinese suppliers and stakeholders.
Ensure accuracy of technical and business translations.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
Requirements:
✅ HSK Level 4 and above (proficiency in Mandarin).
✅ Degree/Diploma in Languages, Communication, or related field.
✅ 1–3 years’ translation/interpretation experience preferred.
✅ Excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken.
✅ Strong organizational, interpersonal, and cultural adaptability skills.
✅ Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT).
