About the Role
A client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (European National) to join their technical team in Konza City. The ideal candidate will have strong engineering expertise, hands-on technical skills, and proven experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and oversee electrical systems, installations, and maintenance projects.
Conduct feasibility studies, technical analysis, and electrical equipment evaluations.
Ensure compliance with Kenyan and international electrical engineering standards.
Lead and supervise electrical engineering teams from project inception to completion.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and schematics using AutoCAD or similar tools.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical control systems, PLCs, and automation.
Proven project management and leadership skills.
Excellent English communication skills; additional European languages are an advantage.
Must be a European national, willing to relocate or already residing in Kenya.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in the energy or manufacturing sector.
Familiarity with international quality and safety standards.
Experience working in multicultural teams.
Working Conditions:
Based in Konza City, Kenya.
May require occasional travel to project sites.
